THIS IS MY WORLD...

For her second foray into photography Natalia decided to go on a wander around Babcia and Dziadek's wonderful garden.  I think this is when I truly saw that we were able to experience the world through her eyes.  The photo of the football, the windmills, the plastic spraying flower and, above all, the remarkable view of the gate simply highlighted to me that, yes, this is how we see what's important to her at that precise moment.

Natalia's view of the back of the garden from the balcony - Dziadek caught "cutting the grass!"

I don't know HOW she achieved this effect...I've been trying to recreate it without success!

It was the time of the European Cup - Football was obviously very important to Natalia!

ORIGINAL COMPOSITIONS

Natalia's first foray into photography erupted when she was inspired by the garden of her Aunty Ania ( her own beautiful photos can be seen here ; http://mojesiedlisko.blog.onet.pl/ ).  Understandably, for one so small, it took my little girl a while to realise that it really was best to keep the camera still whilst taking a photo (it's hard enough to keep one's self still when you're only 2 and a half!).  Thus, some of the pictures are a little blurred around the edges but are still a wonderful chronicle of the world she sees around her.

Yes, it's blurred, but I love the ethereal quality of this photo.  It's a look into Natalia's own fairy-tale world.

Hmmm. Depending on your point of view her first portrait shot of daddy is either clumsy ...or perfect!!

SEEING IT LIKE A CHILD

My two and a half year old daughter has become fascinated by taking photographs and the results are spectacular.  The most fascinating thing for me is to experience the world through her eyes....finding out what is important to her.

I'm starting this blog for friends and family to see the world though her eyes as well...and to keep a record for her own future self to discover.
